A tall baluster-form body, painted in polychrome enamels depicting four ladies in a garden with a phoenix, butterfly, and bat perched on blossoming branches, the back enameled with a vertical calligraphy paragraph describing the scene, artist signed Huang Ziling, the waisted neck supporting a pair of stylized openwork handles below an ocher enameled rim.
Approximate height: 17 inches (43.1 cm).
Condition: Manufacturing defects, dirt, and adhesive residue. Ask the Asian Art Department for more information.
