The pear-shaped body rising to a slender neck with a flared mouth rim, covered with a lustrous black glaze speckled all over with irregular metallic-silver streaks, the rim painted with a white slip, the glaze stopping at the foot revealing the buff stoneware body.
Height: 10 5/8 inches (27 cm).
Provenance: From the collection of Captain Edward Pearce, Annapolis, Maryland, purchased in 1955 with receipt.
