Chinese Ge Type Arrow Vase

The compressed globular body surmounted by a tall neck, flanked at the top by hollow arrow handles, covered all over in a pale grey-brown glaze suffused with a dark irregular crackle and adenser russet-brown crackle, the unglazed foot ring revealing the dark brown buff ware.
Height: 6 inches (15.2 cm).
Provenance:
From the collection of Captain Edward Pearce, Annapolis, Maryland, who served the U.S. Navy stationed in Japan, and England during the 1960s to early 1970s.
