Finely cast with a bow-shaped mouth, angular nose, elongated eyes beneath gently arching brows, and a third eye on the forehead, flanked by pendulous earlobes, the hair finely striated over the ushnisha.
Approximate height: 26 inches (66 cm) including the stand.

Condition: Wear, patina.
The goddess of Tara is one of the main bodhisattvas in Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism (Lamaism), which was widely practiced and patronized by the Royal Manchurian Court.Tara is the female consort of Avalokitesvara.She was born from his tears of compassion when he heard the cry of the world.
