Sevres Style Painted Porcelain Sceaux

Mid to late 19th Century.
The u-shaped vessel with applied scroll handles to sides, the body painted in bleu celeste and with painted, cisele gilt scrolling foliate decoration with encrusted faux gems surrounding two shaped cartouches, one side with a finely-painted portrait of Louis XVIII held aloft by putti, the other with a gilt crown over the letters L made of flowerheads, above a green wreath.
To underside, entwined blue Svres mark in glaze.
Approximate dimensions: 7 3/4 H. x 11 1/2 W. including handles x 8 5/8 D..
Condition: Attractive appearance to exterior, some glaze loss and abrasions to interior. Both handles with firing cracks to undersides, where handles are thickest. Minor losses to faux gems. Minor wear and losses to gilding throughout. Minor scratches to painted surfaces.
