The dark blue blanket with dark green banding, Lieut.S.M.Smith / Co.A.44 Rest O.V.M. in red to one end, Lieut .S.M.S. to the other with extensive two page letter dated 11/19/1861 from Camp Piatt VA adressed to a brother, the envelope with Lester R. Smith Esq.
Approximate dimensions: Blanket 6 x 6 feet 2 inches..
Condition: Some fraying to edges. Several holes and tears throughout.
