Each of pear-shape body tapering to a flaring neck with wide everted rim, covered overall with a dark brownish-black glaze and splashed with caramel-beige tones simulating tortoiseshell, the glaze stopping neatly above the short foot.
Height: 13 inches (33 cm) each.

From the collection of Captain Edward Pearce, Annapolis, Maryland, who served the U.S. Navy stationed in Japan, and England during the 1960s to early 1970s.
